Current COVID restrictions leading to more postponements

Well, yesterday I had two messages advising me of further postponements - one in March, the other in October. Not really surprising to see couples think again given we're now in Lockdown 3, the current restrictions (Tier 4 for me!) below:

In Tier 1, 2 and 3 areas, wedding and civil partnership ceremonies (with up to 15 attendees, not including those working) can take place.

In Tier 4 areas, weddings and civil partnership ceremonies must only take place with up to 6 people.

Anyone working is not included. These should only take place in exceptional circumstances, for example urgent marriages where one of those getting married is seriously ill and not expected to recover, or due where to undergo debilitating treatment or life-changing surgery.

Wedding receptions (with up to 15 attendees, not including those working) can take place in tier 1 and 2 areas. Wedding receptions are not permitted in tier 3 and 4 areas).

When attending a wedding or civil partnership ceremony, there are no restrictions on travel and you may travel to another Tier in England or overseas, for this purpose. For international travel see the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office travel advice for your destination and the travel corridors list.
